The purpose of this thread is twofold 1) if anyone has inside scoop as to whether or not CRK plans to produce a flipper; 2) is there an interest among CRK fans to see a flipper made by CRK?

1). Not going to happen

2). I'm personally not interested in a flipper, I'm already ninja-like with my Sebenza.

As far as I know, nothing has been confirmed for CRK flippers to come...
But I will be interested for sure
A "sebenza/inkosi-ich" flipper will be great for me ;)

I'm not a flipper guy, but I would think in order to make things work would require a major overhaul/redesign of the frame lock and the pivot mechanism. Those are the key components of the CRK line and the juice doesn't seem to be worth the squeeze to do that.

I'm not seeing it happen. Would still be interested though, I bet it would look good. Too much of a deviation from the CRK formula.

1. Chris has spoken to this before and said it would never happen. He isn't with the company any longer so who knows, but I still HIGHLY doubt it.
2. I have tried and sold several flippers in the last few years. They seem very gimmicky to me, but that's just my opinion. I'm sure the mall-ninja crowd would like them.

Here's a picture of Sebenza clone with a flipper. It's not too much of a departure from the original Sebenza design–other than the fact that it's counterfeit–but I'm more than satisfied with the original Sebenza.

The Cotton Bully... he just lays it out there.

Bottom line, chicks dig flippers, known fact. I'm gonna dual wield to increase my chances with the ladies.

I have more than one authentic CRK flipper. The mechanism is fast, smooth, and reliable. The "flipper"is my thumb.

You want a Sebenza flipper? Buy a Shiro. Yes, the Russian quality is that good. Me? I still prefer the 25 just as it comes.

Seeing how Anne has been involved with the company since its inception, doubt it will ever happen even with Chris being out of the picture.
Would I like to see a CRK flipper......Hell No.

Hopefully not
Anne has echoed many of Chris's statements on this over the years, so I doubt it. Flipper fans may just have to look elsewhere.

I am not interested in a Kit Carson-style flipper on a CRK. I would love to see a more pronounced South African-style front-flipper design (the kind that already exists on the Sebenza and Inkosi).
Maybe even a variant without a thumb-lug and only the front-flipper. THAT I would be interested in.

I would LOVE to see something 21'ish with a slightly more pronounced tang for easy front flipping. I was just contemplating this last night, as a matter of fact. I'd totally keep the thumb studs though.
