Just ran out of my small bottle of blue lube, so i wanted to try something new. I never used grease on my knife before but i hear that CRK Flourinated Grease is really good. I was going to buy it until i saw a Sentry Solutions Hi-Slip grease. I would buy the CRK but the other one is about half the price.

CRK Flourinated Grease vs SS Hi-Slip Grease

SS Hi-Slip grease is a bit much for a knife pivot, its great for firearms that experience high volume in terms of rounds discharged as it does really well at very high temperatures, but I don't see your knife pivot getting that hot or under nearly that kind of stress. Get you some mineral oil its cheap works really good and its food safe. Hi Slip Grease is NOT FOOD SAFE, nor is CRK Flourinated Grease.
