I apologize if the has been asked previously, but, which is better? I'm sure the grease would be better suited to keeping debris out, but would nano-lube make for smoother action?

From my experience, oil-based products make for a quicker/looser action on the knife, while greases give you more of that classic 'Sebenza Hydraulic Action'. For me smoothness is subjective, and exists in either form, but the most deciding factor is the cleanliness of the track that the detent ball slides along, which is exposed and can get dirty.

I am a grease man myself.

Crk grease. Only a very little is needed. It seems to make the action feel more fluid. I didn't like results of nano oil. I like that fluid feel.

I have used the CRK grease for years and it has always worked great for me. I have tried a few others along the way, such as blue lube, but end up going back to the CRK stuff.

I like the grease. Something to be mindful with nano lube is excess amounts getting between the screw heads and Ti scales. The natural galling of the screws is what keeps them in place without thread locker.

I have never ever liked using CRK grease on my sebenzas. I have pretty much always used starrett tool oil. Never had any issues with the tool oil.

Strangely though, I've come to love using the grease on my benchmades and spydercos, it also worked perfectly on a rockstead i had a while back.

I liked the CRK grease so well on my Sebenzas that I've relubed almost all of my other framelocks with CRK grease. :D

Nano all the way. The grease is awesome on ti but in my opinion thats all I like it for
