CRK Green Beret 7" Sheath Options

Hi all - I've recently acquired a Chris Reeve Green Beret 7" fixed blade. It came with a Spec Ops nylon sheath that leaves a lot to be desired.

It lives in my truck, so therefore will have huge temperature swings and humidity levels, so I don't think leather is a good option.

My ESEE3 came with a nice hard plastic sheath that I can quickly attach to my belt or molle. Heck, even my Mora has a pretty decent sheath. I like that they 'pop' into place and have some nice retention.

I can't find many options out there, and really don't want to ship my knife off for a custom made sheath.

I located a video of a pretty nice sheath, and think I would like something similar to that.

Looking here to see if anyone is aware of any options out there.

If you haven’t already. I would try asking this in the Chris Reeve knife forum here on BF.
Hope this helps :-)

Thank you, that is in fact where I started; as well as the CRK Facebook page. I'm surprised at the lack of sheaths available for such a long-standing model. My hunt will continue :)!

Wow that is kinda crazy. Great knife and being it was around awhile and popular.
If it comes down to sending your knife out. Check out the thread in the sticky’s above in this forum. Sheath makers and such of Bladeforum’s. Plenty of great sheath makers here.
