So I have been really focusing on high end folders for my collection lately, and I was looking for some more suggestions on makers to check out? (No autos, they are illegal up here)

I have some CRK's, a Hinderer XM-24 on the way, an 3.5" XM-18 on order, Am looking at grabbing 3 Striders (PT, SnG, SmF) and have contacted Demko regarding a Custom AD-10...

I was just wondering what other makers are in this league of high end manufacturers? (The Fallkniven PXL is up there, as well... seriously awesome knife btw )

So, anyone have any suggestions?

Cheers!

Give HTM and Tim Galyean (both have their own forums here on BF), and Les George's Project VECP and a look.

Check out rockstead knives, Duane carrillo, dervish knives, Will zermeno, Kingdom armory, Crusader forge, bob terzuola knives... Just off the top of my head :)

I don't own any of their knives but I am enamored with all of them ;)

Don't forget Klötzli, a very precise Swiss manufacturer of very high quality folders. Fit and finish is as manically precise as my Sebenza.

Here is their recent collaboration with Emerson:

And a wonderful Walker design from 2005:

Then, if you are open to creations of "elegant" knife makers, you have to check out 2 of the best french brands: Perceval and Fontenille-Pataud:

More inline with your current knives is the Lion Steel SR-1. The handle is milled from ONE piece of titanium, that is pretty rare outside the custom world:

I have to admit, that those Lion Steel Knives have really caught my eye as of late... very nice! My first glimpse of that company was actually the Spyderco "Lion Spy" collaboration..

Thanks for all the suggestions guys... you just cost me a couple grand... :grumpy:
(lets have some more ;))

:D:thumbup:

Yuna, Rexford, Kingdom Armory, Terzuola, Duane Carillo, and i like the collabs that Triple Aught Design does with knife makers..... cool to check that website from time to time to see what they offer.

find yourself a Dauntless :D

Look at some of the custom makers here on BF....Farid is one and he uses some crazy high quality steels. Another is Yuna. Or look at Alpha Hunter.....he's a little harder to find, but he will commonly use S90V and M4 and stuff like that.

Good luck in your huntings!

Ps..

Dont forget to post up pics! haha

Ive actually been looking at william henry quite a bit.. they are beautiful knives! As far as the mnandi, I actually have a snakewood one on order direct from CRK... I cant wait!

Alright, so add the Yuna Hard 2 Type S, a Lion Steel SR-1, and an RJ martin Q-36 to the list... (Also a Branton Transition)

I really wanted to pick up a Terzuola Century Starfighter but someone bought it before I could get the funds.
