I won't make this a long history lesson. Just suffice it to say that I did this on the Kimber 1911 subforum. It was not only well received there were many members that weren't as fortunate in life as myself that wanted to spruce up their 1911 with new WC parts or wanted to try a new style magazine in their gun or needed the part as a replacement fix.
I've watched Blade forums for many years and found fixes and ideas before becoming a supporting member. Due to world events and events happening in my own life I feel it's now time for me to give back to the community. I have some items that I will edit into this thread from my Tap-a-talk that will be given to new homes. Absolutely no money will change hands for these small tokens of thanks. I will pay all mailing costs. Conversely if you have some items that you are willing to pass on as gifts to fellow members feel free to post them. But please remember that this is an honor system. There is to be NO COST to the first member that states "I will take it" for the item that you list up for grabs. If you can't afford to give something to a fellow member simply do not post it here. There is a CRK sales forum for that.
Be aware that not all these items are CRK items but they will be coupled with CRK parts. That is the stipulation here. Anything you can give must be placed with CRK parts or pieces. This is, after all, the CRK subforum. Those who enjoy the use of lanyards on their CRK's might find these first items useful. One item lot by its # per member. Two feet of the paracord of your choice will be mailed with items including the already made up lanyards. I do have a multitude of various beads and paracord that I have accumulated over the years. PM me with your email and I will email you with photos of what I have. I will send a couple beads and/or paracord in 2 to 4 foot lengths at no charge.
A special thanks to Justin for his idea placed in my head for what he termed "a pay it forward" gesture. To Lone Wolfe for a wealth of knowledge and the info I needed for a special giveaway in a second thread that will follow this one. And for Twinsdad...you're paid in full, my friend. Happy birthday! Not your Birthday? Happy Birthday anyway.
Many thanks to all the members that make up the finest knife forum on the internet.
Mark
