CRK Lanyards - paracord?

I just re-tied the lanyard on my Sebenza, and I realized that it is different from what I normally call paracord. The paracord I'm used to is thicker and softer than what CRK uses. Is the CRK lanyard made of something else? Or is it a different type of paracord?

CRK uses something along the lines of a braided shoe-lace type cord. You can call Bridget and see if she can give you a source of where they get it.
