How’s it going fellow CRK collectors! Just wanted to know more about this Large “Ole Glory”. Does anyone know about how many were made in this configuration or anything else worth mentioning about it?

Also, I called CRK to ask them about it, they asked Anne and she didn’t know much about it. Always appreciate how great they are at headquarters even trying to answer questions like this, great people to deal with all around!!!

Oh yeah, this one is staying in the collection for a long long …..long time. Lol.

Beautiful knife! Maybe post this in the CRK sub-forum? Lots of knowledgeable, helpful folks there. I think this UG may be somewhat rare, but I’ve seen it once or twice before. The DT Damascus might be the difference maker.

Introduced in 2011 as far as how many that's hard telling since they've done so many CGG.

I'd say it's fairly rare as they don't pop up much and less so than Glorious or the newer Forever Flag.

The reverse silver contrast is what sets it apart. I don’t think there were very many made like that. The colored flag and polished slab is more common.
Go look through the CRK pictures thread and see if you see any others. That’s definitely one to keep, not many of the older CRK’s with graphics come up for sale anywhere, and when they do, people are willing to pay the asking price. That should tell you they’re in demand.

Thanks. I forgot to mention the reverse silver contrast and didn’t realize that’s also another factor to consider.

Some of the early Stars and Stripes didn’t have the anodizing, even though yours is a CCG, I’m thinking it’s closer to a Unique or was ordered in that configuration. There may not be another one like it if it was a customer order. I do know there wasn’t many Stars and Stripes made without the coloring. From what I understand, there’s a CRK group on FB that knows a ton of history on CRK.

The CGG Old Glory was made from 2010 to 2013, and is the only CGG that's a true representation of the flag. 50 start and 13 stripes. The vast majority have plain blades and colored graphics. They were popular and plentiful while in production, but these days the supply has dried up.
