CRK Lock 45 question

I saw a couple of pictures of the Lock 45 on the "Best of" post by DaveH, can someone give me some information on it, like when were they made and how many (it looks like they were serialized)? Also, were they all made with Damascus blades and backs? Thanks.

Oh good grief it kills me to see that knife again. I have been salivating, along with a few other CRK fiends, over the thought of a CRK folder with a wharnie blade and seeing that knife is just a cruel reminder of my unrequited desires.
