I'm just wondering how much hands on work there is on the Sebenza. Blade grinding, spine rounding, jimping, etc. etc. I imaging all the handle is CNC'd probably? I ask because in comparing my Sebbie to other high end knives it's still probably the best made in regards to fit, finish, and action. Which says a lot really, two 500 dollar knives sitting next to each other and one is simply better.
I love my CRK stuff, maybe they don't get the most pocket time, but they're what I use to measure everything else up to.

there is tons of hand work, everything is pretty much ground by hand and the only things that machines do it make the basic handle or blade shape all the other work is done by hand with a belt grinder or a file. some of the designs are CNC'd by machine but Lisa also makes a lot of them with the manual mill (big spinning etch a sketch of love ). I suggest if you would like to learn more get a copy of the Chris Reeve Knives DVD.

Are you suggesting I use my knife funds to buy a DVD???

Hehehe, seriously though, that's even that much more impressive! Honestly, they are so perfect it's almost hard to believe there's hand work in it...

I highly recommend the CRK DVD set. It shows everything that goes into making sebenzas. mnandi, OPR. Great DVD set and I Highly Recommend It.
