Chris Reeve Mountaineer II: SOLD Includes box and papers. Born on Date = 11/14/1992. Condition: never carried or used to cut anything, only fondled. The sheath has a few nicks where the tip has scraped the leather at the insertion point (You can't see it when the knife is in the sheath). The edge still has the original factory finish to it. The knurling on the handle has very few marks from storage. Otherwise it is is in excellent condition. I'd call it 97% towards perfect, amazing considering the age.
Fallkniven Northern Lights NL4 Frej: WITHDRAWN Laminated VG 10. Includes box. This was carried on about 5 outings but only saw light camp use. The blade has a few light scrapes but the edge is in excellent condition. The sheath has some wear marks on the side where the color has worn somewhat. The leather handle is in great shape. Overall it is in excellent condition but the "newness has obviously been knocked off. Even so, I'd say it is 90+% and it is ready to become someone's user with out the need to fret about it.
Martindale No. 2 Golok: SOLD Includes sheath and bastard file. This was used less than a dozen times to clear brush on my property. I sanded the handle to improve the rough factory finish and gave it two coats of tung oil. I have touched up the edge with the file and it does not have any nicks, chips, etc. The steel does show some discoloration on the bevel near the edge, typical of used carbon blades. The weak belt loop has come unstitched and nearby the canvas on the sheath has a small tear.
