Hi all first i would like to thank the members with my question on a sebbie a couple of months ago. Here i am again asking for some advice, i bought this beauty recently and wondered if anyone knows the meaning of "Nkonka" this is No119 of 200 in CPM 3V with everything with it Box Paperwork even the card sheath from Mr Reeves, would anyone have an idea as to it's value in America??
If i have posted this in the wrong forum could a mod move it please or let me know.
Regards Paul.
PS i hope to be back in Canada fishing again next year, it is so nice to be able to have a knife on your belt and feel ok in a public place.

While I have no clue what Nkonka means, I have #121. I bought mine at the end of 2003 for $445. As to what they're worth today, it depends on the buyer.

Wow, I'm surprised this just sat here in the General Knife Discussion since December 1.

I did a quick search for "Nkonka" and came up with http://www.srknife.com/item29.htm telling me USD360.00 and Zulu name for a Bushbuck.

Incidentally, for anyone reading this ... if you need a thread like this moved, posting the request in the thread is least likely to help, since if a mod saw it here, he'd move it. If he didn't see the thread, he wouldn't see your request, either.

Hit the Report Post button (exclamation point in a triangle next to the post #) and tell us you'd like it moved and the report goes to the moderator's forum for action.

$360 is the current retail price for the standard Nkonka, which is made with A2 tool steel, but this thread is about the CPM-3V version, and only 200 were made, which were numbered.
