CRK Ole Glory Damascus

Received my 1st ever CRK from Travis @ Edged Specialties (what a great guy). Would like to personally thank all the folks here at the BF CRK subforum, as your references led me to Travis via google searches that directed me here ~ Thank You! I purchased 3 in total; 2 of which has been received ~ Ole Glory & The Boss (Zaan) and the 3rd is in the build process. I'll post the Umnumzaan next.

Here's a few pics of the CRK Small Sebenza "Ole Glory" with Reversed Silver Contrast and Spirograph Damascus. I'm thrilled at how well the damascus compliments the shading/coloring of the titanium scales.

Super nice! I have been going back and forth over that one for some time now! Travis must have gotten multiples of the small Ole Glory with Spirograph ... because it is still listed as available on the site. Thanks for posting the great pics.

Beautiful knife! I was eyeballing that one for a while now. I noticed that it looked as if it was still in stock at the site last night even!

Great score! Now all you need is a Barry H scale to go with it.

Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the photo of the front of the blade posted above is the same as the front of the blade at edgedspecialties yet the photo of the back of the blade posted above is completely different from the photo of the back of the blade at edgedspecialties. I'm guessing that the photo of the ol' Glory Spirograph small sebenza at EdgedSpecialties must be of two different knives, and that must be why it says it is still in stock.

Burnside: Not sure if I should thank you or curse you for dropping the name Barry H. Just got through visiting his photobucket photo-gallery. Wow, he's a talented artist for sure and I can already feel my wallet draining. I'm starting to see too many parallels with my firearms obsession vs. my knewly acquired knives addiction...not good.

Congrats on the knife, that damascus pattern looks AMAZING. I recently had a plain jane small sebenza pimped by Barry H and it just completely transforms the knife. Your wallet will be drained but it'll be worth it though.

...I actually noticed there is a single CRK small carbon fiber scale on fleebay for 175. It would look great with the spirograph!

I ain't gonna lie; the Carbon scale on the Bay looks sweet, but I wouldn't cover up my flag if I was being held at knife-point.

I want to curse you .... but I just can't bring myself to do it! As I mentioned earlier, I had been going back and forth on that knife for some time now. Kept looking at that one and the large with raindrop damascus. Had all but decided to just give myself a long cooling off period .... go back with a clear head .... and, if still available, make a decision. Your pictures, however, put the kibosh on my plan and gave me the nudge I needed (but not necessarily my wallet!). Went ahead and ordered the small while it could still be had in spirograph! Curse you .... actually, I mean thank you!! Enjoy that blade!

That's too funny.. I didn't even know at the time I added that to my cart, that the Spirograph was discontinued. Wasn't until I contacted Travis to order a Large Ole Glory; I was debating between Spirograph or Raindrop, when Travis advised that Spirograph was no longer an option. Sadly, neither was a blue Damascus blade. That combo on a full color Ole Glory would have put me over the edge of bliss.

In the end, I'll patiently await the 3 month duration for the Raindrop Ole Glory. I plan to put on a stunning Damascus lanyard bead when it arrives; so, even without the Blue Damascus blade, it should turn out pretty special.

Well, you can totally forget about that cursing you thing! You gave me the nudge I needed to add the "Ole Glory" to my collection. (seems like ES still has some, or at least another in stock, since, even after my purchase, it is showing as available) Again .... thanks .... you are right .... she is a real beauty.

Travis is awesome, all my CRK buys will be through him. Free maxpedition case and a flourinated grease when I bought my umnum and the tool for it. Rare to see customer service like that anymore.
