CRK on "the other forum."

Will CRK be on both sites, or just here? If just here, (hopefully) will the threads from the "other" forum be placed here?

I believe they will monitor both forums for now. There is no way we can copy over the threads from KFC so you will need to check both forums for now.

We are extremely happy to have Chris Reeve Knives represented on these forums, and Chris & Anne are truly class acts.

Remarks about the demise of any forums are uncalled for. Let's all be happy that CRK is well represented on both sites, and make them feel welcome no matter where they are.

Reminds me of a guy I used to work with. We called him Burn-Your-Bridges Smith. He was proud of that label. He used to say he not only burned his bridges, but dynamited the burned-out remains too. What a guy. Ex-marine. You just had to like the guy!

I don't think Mr. Smith would make a good knife maker or dealer though. I much prefer dealing with dealers with outstanding reputations like CRK. If I hadn't been visiting knifeforums all along, I wouldn't have been able to follow their business until now. It's certainly a pleasure having them here too!

When I was referring to the other forum I meant the Chris Reeve forum. I was just thinking that posts on the CR forum on knife forums is going to stop, and so it'll probably be taken down, or archived. I didn't mean to bad mouth the other forum in any way. Sorry if I was unclear.
 
Geez, there are so many threads and replies immediately on this new forum that CRK may simply feel overwhelmed, close up here, and stay put at Knifeforums.

I would be concerned that “managing’ this forum might become a full time job. The main advantage is that there is now a definite place to post your Reeve questions and comments here on BFC instead of on the General Forum.

There is a great benefit to being on both forums. There are those of us who no longer visit the "other place."

As far as the "M" company starting a forum here. I would probably give it as much attention as I do now.
 
What's this other palce people are talkign about? Surely it isn't as good as bladeforums
