Sorry for a simply question as I am learning about CRK what does Oregon vs non Oregon mean?

I for one like the " Idaho Made "........I think people should be Happy CRK makes knives in this great country and does not stamp their name on foreign imported crap.
Whether a CRK is stamped "Idaho Made" or is Unstamped is not a deal breaker for me. CRK makes the BEST Knives in the Industry...Period !!!

I pretty much agree, just thought it was odd that some are already missing the stamp.
Like my Insingo that was assembled at the end of '10, it was put together with a lock side that was manufactured in 2nd quarter '09, and as such does not have the stamp. The ones being shipped now without a stamp very likely have lock sides that were made before the stamp.
I think he means Columbia River Knife and Tool which is based out of Oregon not Chris Reeves Knives. Most of Columbia River knives are made in China, Taiwan etc etc so that would explain why very few of them say Oregon on them anymore.
