CRK Oregon?

We have a whole CRK forum to ask that. :)

Do you mean ... Idaho? Chris recently began marking knives with "Idaho made" in honor of the state he found so welcoming.

Yes, newer knives say IDAHO MADE, older ones do not. Some like, some are indifferent (like myself), and others simply hate it.

I have seen a couple small sebenza's that have the new s35vn steel but no stamp. Hmmmmm.

I for one like the " Idaho Made "........I think people should be Happy CRK makes knives in this great country and does not stamp their name on foreign imported crap.

Whether a CRK is stamped "Idaho Made" or is Unstamped is not a deal breaker for me. CRK makes the BEST Knives in the Industry...Period !!!

zackfraser pretty much said it all !!!

I pretty much agree, just thought it was odd that some are already missing the stamp.

My thoughts exactly. I just purchased a large 21 that had the stamp and new steel. It's nice to see companies taking pride in the fact that their product is American made and stamping the state name is a nice touch. Not to mention, the stamp isn't all that visible, at least on my 21 with bead blasted handles.

Like my Insingo that was assembled at the end of '10, it was put together with a lock side that was manufactured in 2nd quarter '09, and as such does not have the stamp. The ones being shipped now without a stamp very likely have lock sides that were made before the stamp.

I think he means Columbia River Knife and Tool which is based out of Oregon not Chris Reeves Knives. Most of Columbia River knives are made in China, Taiwan etc etc so that would explain why very few of them say Oregon on them anymore.

That is probably what has happened, I just saw the S35VN and no stamp and assumed, and you know what they say about that.

He might have seen an add about the CRKT Sebenza .
