I recently picked up a used CRK Pacific in S35VN (that's what the guy said, there are no indications of the steel on the blade) for a pretty good price. It's in need of sharpening and there's a lot of wear to the finish as well as the mircata grips being somewhat scuffed and darkened. I'm planning on keeping this one for myself but who knows, I may sell it down the line as I've been known to do. I'll try to get some pics up later.
I've considered sending it back to CRK for a refurbish which will take around 5 weeks with shipping time taken into consideration. I've also thought about sharpening it, having it finished with cerakote or duracoat and sanding the scuffs out of the scales. I'm sure there are people who have taken on a similar project, what do you think?
