While this is my first time posting, I have been reading BladeForums posts for a long time. A little bit of backstory that I will try provide in a concise manner. At the beginning of last year I had serious cycling accident. Eighteen months and four surgeries later (culminating in a complex total left knee replacement) I have arrived at what will be my new normal.

The accident led to the realization that everything I have will be enjoyed through use. I have 2003 Mustang Mach 1 that I drove off the lot in Dec of ‘03. I only drove it to shows, in parades, and on loops. When I sold my commuter car and pressed it into daily driver duty it had 5,300 original miles on it and I have loved every mile since. Same went for Benchmade 940 and 941 in 154CM and the ZT 0609. The ZT had been my EDC knife for the past number of years. Late last year I purchased a Small Sebenza PJ in MagnaCut and a few months ago a KnifeArt large Sebenza in MagnaCut with a full CF show side scale. The large is truly incredible weighing in at 3.7oz for 3.6 inches of blade. The only issue is the stock pocket clip would scratch my steering wheel getting out of the car, unless I covered it with my hand. So I order a slip for the small Sebenza to carry it during the week in my suit jackets and sport coats inside pocket, and I order a Ripp’s Garage Tech Timascus clip for the large. I only ordered one as I had read conflicting reports of its function. I was so blown away by it’s look, fit, finish, and function that after 3 days I ordered a second one for my Small.

Personally, I would not buy another CRK without factoring a polished RGT in Timascus into the cost.

I would post pictures, and I really only created the account to do so, but it doesn’t appear that I can embed them into the posts and I have no interest in setting up an account on a hosting site.
