It's a great knife, fit and finish are excellent, lockup is great and has a very satisfying click to it due to the ceramic contact. You will like yours I'm certain! It still hasn't kicked the LG out of my pocket though

I have always thought that it is a location on the blade where the machines likely transition; much like the positioning hole on the 21.
