So since day one I've always wanted a Sebenza 21 with Damascus. Just loved the way the blue thumb lug and blade looked together. I once owned a Knifeart.com CF Sebenza 21 and lost it! (Don't ask). Always thought the Damascus would look amazing with CF scale. Well just so happens Knifeart.com made it! A Sebenza 21 Large with CF scale and ladder damascus. 620 bones. I had the money to purchase it yesterday but figured I'd wait tell pay day on Tuesday so I didn't short myself on bills. Guess what, look today to make sure the knife is still there.... sold out. Ugh why didn't I buy it when I had the money. Very frustrating. Sorry for the long rant. Needed to let that out. On another note does anybody have a Sebenza 21 CF Damascus they would like to sell me?? :o

Sorry to hear of your lost opportunity. What about basket weave? I think the pattern of the Damascus matches the weave of the CF. I know they don't have one; just a thought.

OUCH! I've lost a collector Mnandi on the bay at an excellent price because I hesitated. I actually made an offer that they accepted but I pondered too long and it went to someone else. It would have been an excellent deal at the take it now price....

I know for a fact that these CF w/ Damascus do not last very long on their site and sells out pretty quickly. They also don't get a lot of a lot of stocks on those.

Sorry to hear about the one you lost. That's really rough.

I would suggest to sign up with their email notifications if it comes back in stock. Prepare to wait though as it takes quite awhile for them to get those Damascus back.

Well, look at it this way, the next opportunity that comes, you'll have the funds to jump on it without hesitation.

Lesson learned. Just like everything else procrastination is the end all deal breaker. Next time I'll be ready with money in hand!

Worst part about it was the 620 I was ready to drop on the sebenza I used to purchase a strider SMF. Figuring I'll buy the sebenza on Tuesday. So ultimately the Strider cost me the sebenza and I'm not sure how I feel about that...

Well, the other day on eBay I saw a small annual for $450. Having seen fake annuals, I looked over the pics for a few seconds. I hit buy it now and it had just sold during the few seconds I verified its authenticity. So lost a small annual for $450 in a matter of seconds.

The Hunt. Occasional victory in a sea of frustration. But still I press on, only regretting the opportunities missed. I recently lost a Regular Seb on an obscure sales forum while checking out facts/authenticity. It was listed for $305!

Ya I saw a knife today that I wanted to make an offer on. Waited till I got off work and it was already sold. That's OK, knives definitely come and go. Something even better will pop up.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I thought I lost my F3 the other day, looked for it everywhere couldn't find it in all the usual spots. Convinced myself I knocked into the trash accidentally while moving furniture around and the garbage collector was there that morning. Super bummed. Luckily I found it wrapped up in blanket.

I will also add that I am one of the unlucky fellas that have actually LOST LOST a sebenza. It was a Large 21 Silver Dog Paws. Disappeared and I have of how, why, when it went missing. Would rather lose lot on a 1,000 sales than lose one that was owned and in hand.

I lost a small Annual in another painful way. It was enroute to me in Afghanistan, and got there that day after I got pulled out for medical reasons. I never got to see it. :(

They were not able to forward it to you....??? WTF

Maybe you'll get lucky in a week or so and the buyer will list it here at a discount and you'll be able to snatch it up?

You could also put something like "Somebody sell me a CF damascus Sebenza" in big font in your sig line ;) :D

It's always sad to hear about the story of your 2010 Annual LW. Whoever got her probably don't know it's true value as a knife...

That happened to me too, kind of.

I walked into this store to look at a nice knife. Sebenza caught my eye, then saw some wood ones!
Picked up this gorgeous honduran inlay sebenza, opened it and saw the heel of the blade is grounded really bad. Bought the bocote instead, but everytime I pick up my bocote I'm reminded of the honduran that got away.
I could of reground the blade... but didn't.
