The Reeves moved to the US in March of 1989. Are you saying that this knife was made in S. Africa, or just the sheath?

Identical to the other one referenced #257 from Feb '89. Same features and markings - neither blade marked with country of origin. Would say USA if made here. Same last batch made there then sold here?

Edit: Not same markings. New pics posted of the other knife shows SA stamp. However, mine was SA made during the time of the move but not stamped.

Thanks! PM sent.

Still available. Confirmed from another collector that it is a transit knife, made in S. Africa but unmarked during the time of CRK's move to the States.

I had an aviator of same vintage. Anne Reeve told me they started to mark then after US Customs asked them to do so. That was mid-89, so this is definitely SO Africa.
