CRK is the epitome of fine knives. Since I got my first CRK I have not purchased or considered purchasing a knife from another brand. Every time I see a Benchmade or Spyderco I like I think to myself "is there any possible way I can kick my sebenza out of my pocket for this?" and every time I come to the same conclusion. No, I can't. Have any of you CRK owners experienced this situation that I am in?

CRK hasn't ruined knives for you. Its just ruined other brands for you:p

They are my favorite folders no doubt, but I still like a few other brands, custom slip joints, and custom fixed blades.

Haha. You got me there. CRK just ruined other brands. I too like other brands for fixed blades and slip joints.
I haven't ventured into the world if customs but I'm sure I will soon.

Yep I don't even consider buying knives other than CRK. why bother. ith CRK you know what you are getting and you know it will be good.

Hmm kinda sorta. I like some spydies but never liked any benchmade I got my hands on. They always felt cheap to me....

I don't think I'll ever buy another knife from either of those brands, or rather a production knife ever again unless its like a SAK.

Mid-tech/Custom is the way to go =)

CRK's and Hinderers. For me, that's about it for folders anymore. I do have one Les George, but that one's going to end up on the block soon.

There are still those applications where I would not take a CRK or Hinderer, for instance -

For water sports and beach I use a Syderco dragonfly in H1.

For rough use where damage is likely I use a Svord peasant.

For small blade, people friendly and discrete I use a Fallkniven U4.
