I'm an idiot and I can provide it. I have many CRK knives, mostly Sebbies. However, my Umnumzaan (old style) is my preferred weekend EDC. Yesterday I lost the screw that holds the back of the knife together. I still have the spacer, and the "female/nut" side. I lost the "male/screw" side.

Anyone know of a source for a replacement? I emailed the mothership and after 3 business days I got no response.

Tel: 208-375-0367

Straight from CRK's website.

Why do people wait days for an email response? Why not just dial the number and speak to someone. The service employees at CRK are very helpful and courteous.

because i'm busy and swamped at work. and I barely get lunch during there biz hours.

CRK is old-school. You gotta find the time and call. If you do, you will be glad you did. They are real humans, and very nice to talk to, and will help you out for sure. Email is not their thing, which is refreshing, but also annoying if you are used to the modern disconnected way of talking with someone.

Get them from CRK. That being said, there are usuall screws in old hard drives that can be used in a pinch.

Actually i've emailed with Heather more than I've talked to her. And yes she is quite pleasant in either medium.

Check your junk box, their reply was placed in my junk box, and I didn't see if for a week even though the replied within an hour of me emailing them.

Exact same thing happened to me and my Zaan (old school) and Angela sent me a screw for free. Such a good company!!

CRK works 10 hour days Mon-Thur. So if you emailed them after close on Thursday, the earliest you would hear would be Monday. Many say they cant get ahold of them, but do not know their business hours. If a couple of their "business" days go buy, try calling them, or even just call them today, you will have your screw by the end of the week. I have talked to pretty much all of them ( Including Chris & Ann ) and they are the nicest people you will ever hear on the other side of the phone.
