Is there a reason why the smooth side of the pins show on the clip side of the scales and not the other way around? Seems prettier with the smooth side on the left scale with the decorations.

Just wondering!

That question has come up before, try a search...It wasnt that long ago.

The final answer was that it doesnt make a difference, If you like it the other way, go ahead & change it.

I tried it once, But I perfer the balance of the overall look when the screw heads are on the main side & the lock/clip on the other.

Hey, no problem! When I first saw the title of this post I thought it may have something to do with tie clip type pins , something like Spyderco has of some models.

Wouldnt that be great to have a little Sebenza or a one piece knife tie tack? or even better a little Sebenza necklace, like the Spyderco mini Police model...

Frank:

Let me just add to what has been said. Chris puts the screws on the face and the pins on the back side because it is the normal way of putting things together. With his machinist background, it just comes natural for him to put the screws in the front. As far as functionality, it doesn't matter if they are reversed.

Thanks for the great question. I hope this helps!
