CRK Services Question

Has anyone had a jewel set in the pilot hole of a 21 on a knife that did not come from CRK with one? I think I'd like to have hematite or onyx put in my EDC, but I'm not sure if CRK offers this as an after production add on.

If anyone has, had this done...would you care to share how much it cost and how long it took? It appears to be a $50 option on a new knife...but that doesn't necessarily mean it's the same on a knife that has already been blasted or otherwise finished and carried/used.

PS I sent them a message asking, and have not heard back after 2 weeks. I ought to just call them, but I'd like to hear from past customers if there are any.

I have never had this done, but I have called and asked many questions and they have always been polite and helpful not matter how dumb my question was. Not saying yours is dumb I think is a great question that we would all like to know the answer.
