I am so close to pulling the trigger on my first CRK. You guys were right....it's only a matter of time. I have had the small Insingo in my head forever as my grail knife. Now that I have had a chance to hold the ZT 0560 in hand for a moment my opinion had changed on blade lengths over 3.5 inches. The 0560 is so light and great for it's size. I had a large Insingo on order but canceled it due to my best friend possibly needing funds for losing his job. I am trying to trade or send back my ZT also. Tear. In my head though I would much rather get my first Chris Reeve if the funds are not needed for my buddy's troubles. The ZT helped me realize that I might want the larger Insingo, though. Originally thought that a large would be way too big in my medium small hand. I think my mind is changed. hmm. Help me out guys. Thanks.

I'd say get the small. It's a bit more people friendly if you're apt to wield it in public.
It has ample cutting surface due to the shape of the Insingo blade.
If for some reason, you find it too small after using it, it will be an easy sell.

After typing up my response above, I actually talked myself into another one...I had sold my original one back a few months ago and missed it. So I just bought one over on the marketplace, but as you'll see they come up from time to time.

What are your primary uses?

If you work with knives or have a job in the trades you will regret getting the small as you will benefit from the extra size of the large.

But if you work in an office area the small will suit you well.

If you don't care get the large and don't look back!

Darn, what did you pay, may I ask? On the exchange? Or where did you find it? Yeah, I have a Sage 2. So I am thinking a large would do me better?

Get the Large (easier to find and sounds like a better fit) and if it is too big, don't use it and sell it for nearly what you paid. The nice thing about CRK, they hold their value well!

I say large as well, had both sold the small. Its harder to "manipulate" in my opinion, but that could just be my clumsy hands.

I think you have a typo in the subject line. It should say "and" not "or".

I've noticed that you bought one for real good price earlier today.
Congrats!!

Well daddy, it is complicated. I tend to carry three (or more) knives. The little SAK Classic with scissors is a must, always. Depending on dress and circumstances, I may have 3"-3.5" blade and something larger still. For EDC, the Small Sebenza is just right for the ~3" semi-sheeple friendly knife. While I use a Large Sebenza around the house quite a lot, I seldom carry one as I have other knives in that size and plus that seem shall we say, more practical tactical. Most Benchmade 3" knives feel too small for me but the Small Sebenza feels just right. I have bought Small to Large in a ratio of 4+ to 1.

The brand I have the most of is Benchmade and for them it is no contest that I prefer them larger.

If like the Highlander, there can be only one, I suspect that people who wear Small to Medium size gloves prefer a Small Sebenza for EDC.

i just got a small diamond plate sebenza not too long ago and i personally think its a little too small for me. the small real estate makes it a little more tricky to deploy and close the knife. this was my first small sebenza so i really didn't know what to expect. it IS definitely more people friendly but i don't think the large sebenza is going to make me look like a murderer anyway... so all in all, i rather have the large.

i also have an umnum and it seems like that knife is getting a lot more carry time than the small seb that i just got.

A difficult question. One that I couldn't decide for myself. I ended up getting both. :D I still can't decide which one I like better. They're both magnificent specimens of the cutler's art.

It depends on your use.
While in the office even a Mnandi seems large enough.
When out in the woods... the large Sebenza isn't that large anymore.
I found the small can be carried comfortably in the front pocket of my jeans.
In conclusion, get the small first and then a large and use them accordingly.

hope this helps ;)

Thanks, still so confused. If I get a good deal on either within the forum I will probably bite. Maybe Lisa will be my hero.
