Anyone have any thought on one vs the other? I have about 10-12 benchmades and like them all, I have a large Sebenza and an Inkosi. Looking for 3 - 3.5 inch blade EDC.

Thanks

The small Sebenza is a great knife, but it doesn't have a 3.25-3.5 in. blade. It is slightly less than 3in.

Yes, I have 450/2 460/2 393 and like them all. I was looking at the Anthem and really like the way the blade "floats" when opening and closing it.

I like to stick with what I have good results with, but from time to time I’ll try something different. That’s all.
Since you’ve got several BM’s and a couple of CRK’s, it might be fun/different to venture out. The 393 is a sweet knife as well as the 452 and 462, which are bigger than what you’re looking for.

Sorry I wasn't clearer, I own all of the above ZTs.

Gotcha, unfortunately I’m bias toward a CRK, don’t have much experience with BM. Sounds like you’re slowly talking yourself into an Anthem, which isn’t a bad thing .

BTW, Welcome to BF!!!!

Can't ever go wrong with a CRK but since I'm a fan of larger knives, I would go with the Anthem this time. Get the small sebenza next because it's always nice to carry a small every once in a while.

I think the Anthem tick a lot of boxes but I would go for the small insingo sebenza nevertheless.
For me, the anthem is just too expensive.... great knife on paper but still a Benhcmade.
I won't buy it unless I have the opportunity to handle the knife I will buy.

They are totally different knives.

The small 21 is quite small. It is just big enough for me to only just get a 4 finger grip on it. Note that the small inkosi is slightly smaller still. That said I find it an ideal edc blade size. It always amazes me how much blade they can get into that little handle. Btw I wear size L gloves.

Here’s a comparison shot next to a large 21.

The anthem is a totally different knife. Unlike the 21 it is on bearings. (I prefer pb washers) That said it is a great integral handled knife. The new spring system they put in it seems like it will largely eliminate the common axis lock problem of springs breaking due to the Anthem using a coil spring rather than the omega springs.

Also I find with alot of Benchmades you can tune the pivot so the blade flops back and forward freely when the axis lock is held back or you can have zero blade play, but not both. Because of the bearings the anthem means you can have no bladeplay and a free swinging blade.

Thanks everyone for the input, I went to my local blade shop and pulled the trigger on the Anthem. Much to my surprise they had the both the bronze and the grey version in stock. I went with with the grey handle stone washed blade.

Oh, yea, and I ordered a small Sebena blue Hex, I'm such a kifeoholic.
