So I have the unique opportunity to purchase a “one of one” CRK, a Sebenza 21 birthed January 12, 2012. It has snakewood inlays and is in mint condition, absolute full kit. Never cut or disassembled. However, I’m being told it is a 1:1 due to the serrated blade. I cannot find any documentation on any snakewoods with serrated blades, so I called up CRK. She was familiar with the knife, & seems like it was a gift from a certain someone to a friend. However, I’m absolutely dumbfounded as to the value. I’m hoping someone can help me. I really have always wanted a snakewood and a serated sebenza but I’ve never really looked into 1 of 1’s much so I could really use some help. Photo of knife and COA below.

Thank you so much!

I don’t know how rare it is but it’s something else, love it!!!! At least $800 minimum in my opinion and maybe as high as $1200. I’ve just recently started collecting and learning about older CRKs so I might be off base.

Note: My friend with the knife is asking $2,000.00. It’s not a situation that I’m going to haggle, as his reason for selling is due to something private - so if I can’t make his number work, hopefully he’s able to list it and find someone who can. $2,000.00 seems like quite an awful lot, personally. But, I am no expert on the older stuff. So I wanted to see if I was wrong in thinking $2,000 was high - or if that was fair/in line.

Serrated Sebenzas are rare and I've seen them go north of $1k. Snakewood is rare, and I've seen rare inlays go north of $1k. If I saw someone list this at $2500, it wouldn't shock me. I'm not saying I'd pay that, but I wouldn't be totally surprised either. That said, it's hard to tell what the combination brings value wise, especially since one of a kinds don't have comps. As mentioned, no one will know more than Lone_Wolfe Lone_Wolfe

If it’s worth it to you, then get it. That’s all that matters.
Personally, I wouldn’t pay that much for a wood inlay 21with S35VN. I’ve paid that much for a regular Unique with Damascus. It was worth it to me to pay that much.
