CRK Steel ?

I dug out a small P from the safe tonight and the Reissued birth card from 2011 says Blade: BG-42.
That doesn't sound right to me as I thought the P's were all ATS-34. I've sent a note to CRK, but I want to know now!
Come on CRK experts and school me quick.

Read it, looks like only ATS to me.

ATS-34 and BG-42 blades were unmarked. They started marking S30V. You have to pretty much go by the finish to tell between the Ats-34 and BG-42. Pics would help....!!!

Yes, pics please! But as far as I know all p versions were ats steel

I heard from Heather this morning and yes, the P's are ATS-34.
We've resolved my issue and a correct card is on the way.
