CRK switching to Cerakote for fixed blades

Looked up the Pacific and Green Beret on their site and they are now listing Cerakote instead of KG Gunkote for their fix blades. I wonder if their frustration over Flat Dark Earth consistency as mentioned in their blog post prompted them to switch.
