I am considering deveating from the norm ( Spydies ) and
get myself one of these from One Stop = www.1sks.com and
was wondering what you forumites thought of the "prowler"
for "alternate EDC" ; I like the thickness of the blade &
liner lock mechanism myself, coupled with the LAWKS "fail
safe" I don't think I could go wrong.

What do you forumites think?

I handled one when they first came out and was suitably impressed. It seems to be a well built knife and the action on the one I handled was smooth with a solid lockup. Seems like a good choice to me.

Knife overall seemed nicely built, my personal reason I didnt get one was due to the low end steel AUS-6.

Great knife. Reverse tanto shape like a benchmade Osborne allows for a sharp piercing point with a good full belly for slicing. Deep hollow-almost flat-grind blade really passes through stuff. The opening slot is one of the best I have ever used, (next to the Spydie Hole of course). Very tough frame, but open for cleaning. The only downside is the AUS-6, but if you just sharpen it more often that works fine. I really like this knife and want a "real" Marzitelli. :D
