Sorry for the delay guys, I have been meaning to post these pics all week for those that were interested.
When I bought my Shadow IV ( pre-owned), included along with the standard cap was a TAD Gear Whistle Butt Cap. The Butt Cap is no longer made or offered by TAD Gear. So you might even say its a "Vintage" CRK Accessory. I have included many pics for you to see. The cap, looks like it was made by CRK, its that High Quality. AND, the Whistle is LOUD. I have only blown into it lightly and it hurts the ears, blowing full blast woudl be deafining !!! Great for a camper, hiker, hunter, etc. Also included was an already installed Button Compass. This was a Compass also offered by TAD gear and was close to $50. If you ever see one out there for sale and your really into the discontinued OPR knives, I would highly recommend that you pick one up. I remember seeing these on their website years ago and I believe they were in the $50 range, give or take a little, its been awhile. I know alot of you guys hate ebay, but I got a Shadow IV in excellent condition, the whistle butt cap with compass and a Spec-Opps Sheath ( original leather also included ) for $175.00. There are always deals to be had.
I must also add that it will screw onto any of the 5.5" - 9" One Piece Range Knives, So that makes it even better as you can use it on a Shadow IV, Project I, Shadow I, etc. It will fit the Skinner as well. ( The only ones it will not fit is the smaller 4" shadow III and the like in similar sized handles ) Enjoy !
