I know I know. Beating a dead horse here. Someone convince me! Or don't. Ha it keeps calling my name. :) Nor sure why. Or is it just that white elephant in the room? Obviously an amazing technical advancement. Hey. Maybe a pass around? LMK! Thanks CRK pals.

I feel the same way, the ti-lock wants me to buy it. I would love to participate in a passaround.

If you can hear it calling your name - go for it.
I hear others calling louder....(Sebies, some Mnandi's too)

I have wanted to handle one for a long time. Interesting design to say the least, but for whatever reason I have yet to pick one up.

It's a beautifully engineered folder and every time I picked it up the ti-lock felt solid and I wanted to buy it but I didn't feel comfortable opening and closing it one handed.

It's one of my favorite CRK's...surprised more people aren't into it.

I bought one sometime ago. It is a gorgeous knife to look at and of course it is beautifully made.

Opening it was ok'ish and it would have been better with practice, though the locking mechanism pinched my finger a couple of times and I tell you .. it was painful for my wimpy self.

I really had problems with closing it one handed.

I ended up selling it ... but I regret it a bit. It is a quirky but beautiful knife, and certainly different to anything out there. I just wish they would have left the original blasted frame. I think it looked better than the stonewash.

been eyeballing it for a long time, since it came out
tried one last year at a show, woah! awesome, lots of cutting edge as said above, beautiful blade profile, very smoooth opening

I responded to a similar thread last month. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...and-looked-at-threads?p=11750904#post11750904

In addition you may consider that the dual finger grooves in the handle of the Sebenza 25 were first seen in the Ti-Lock. The bearing pivot on the Ti-Lock make opening and closing smoother than any other CRK folders I've owned, i.e Sebenzas Lg and Sm, Umnumzaan, or Mnandi.

CRK does not supply a tool for dis-assembly and when questioned said that the Ti-Lock is not meant to be taken apart by the user. Also the polished stone tumbled finish is the only handle option and there is no damascus option for the blade.

I wonder if it is a food slicer with that ti spring on top. Say food prep or foreign material getting inside? Or debris.

By far the easiest opening CRK. Just push the blade.

I really had problems with closing it one handed.

Patience and practice. After hundreds of closings and a rougher thumb it's very simple to close blade.

Patrick I hadn't any problem with food prep.

Thanks bro! You are sneaky. Helping me again. I'm excited. If not I'm moving into your basement. Then we can share future purchases. Debts. Ha
