... for their in-house sheaths maybe?

Left has Zaan1 with Jekyll & Hyde V2 backspacer, fits!
Right has Zaan2 without backspacer, fits!
But swapping Zaan1 into the right one won’t accommodate the backspacer. Top button falls short by about half its diameter.

Left appears to have a longer body by about 2mm, and also has a thicker depth by about the same (not pictured)

To be fair the backspacer is a high-quality aftermarket add-on and the sheath was never designed to allow for it and this is just an FYI. It is a leather product after all, subject to variations in cutting, forming, folding, sewing. Also left is newer maybe a year ago and was used for a week on an actual belt (according to previous owner) while right is from 4-5 years ago and never worn.

Stretch the flap maybe? I wonder if that’s what happened to the one on the left.

Possible, but unlikely. Thick cowhide and dimensionally it’s simply longer and taller in depth.

Also the right one accommodates my small Sebenza (using the lower button) way tighter, all of which point to it being smaller.

To be fair, those sheaths were not meant to accommodate my backspacers..
But yes,..Made by GFeller.

Am thrilled that one sheath fits with your backspacer, Bill!

No joke on the “in-house”, shoulda called it the website sheaths or something

I think also maybe that they are a natural material there could be shrinking and shifting with the leather? Causing slight differences?
Just a theory.

That would be my thought. Almost positive the sheaths are die cut with clicker dies making each identical other than leather stretching or shrinking, especially when the Neats Foot Oil treatment is done by GFeller. If each was hand cut, even with patterns they would be loosing money as they are way too nice for the price
