This knife is just all Boss and that is an end of it. If you're not the Boss then you should not own this knife. Elitist's cannot grasp how much Boss is needed to cut with this knife.

Some pics. That's all I really wanted to post about.

The Star-Zaan without an over-extending disc... because I'm not a complete idiot. Although I play one in real life.

What, no lanyard? Yep, found out I was not a lanyard type. It's just more Boss without knife streamers dangling off of it. :D

How did a watch get in there. My other interest.

Yep, just Boss right there. ;)

this is my bosswoman(my 4 favorite ladies)

wait, by boss, are you implying that you're my boss? :p

i want a star-tac, but sadly all the new ones will have that disc..........:grumpy: may i have yours :D

Ah, no overextension disc. What a delight. The expert's version of the Umnumzaan.

Hold on to it, they will become highly sought after.

She's definitely the Boss. :D Look at how many knives she is carrying.

I have some regrets about not picking up that small 21 you have. I like the simplicity of the design.

she's also got some pink paracord to do some tying up if i get out of line :p and i'm glad you didn't pick up the lisa's pick, because that was my first CRK purchase.

i feel knife streamers are a must if you're playing out in the woods or country. if my clip snagged a branch or something and i lost one, i'd cry like a baby. so i guess i fail boss status.....streamers woo~:D

The new ones have a, for lack of better terms, Hinderer lock stabilizer to prevent over extension of the locking bar. Look at a Strider or Hinderer folder and you will understand.
They have not been met with open arms.
I really dont see it as a problem personally as I really don t care for the Zaan. If it had a different blade shape , perhaps.

I should add that I carry an umnumzaan as my EDC, and yes... it is very BOSS... I have to take it apart and clean it on a weekly basis, as I work in dirt alot (I do, the blade doesnt, no cringes here) and some always finds its way into the assembly. Its kinda my friday ritual.. if Im not hitting the hills for the weekend, I sit and watch a movie, take apart and clean my umnumzaan. Then oil up and re-assemble. I love the ritual. I like taking things apart and putting them back together... especially the Boss. Its very stout, and I am gaining a strong appreciation for the design and ability to easily withstand hard-use.

I had to totally re-grind my edge last night, and she is just singing! If you have seen my posts, you know just how much I love my Umnumzaan. It sits next to my alarm clock when I go to bed. It literally never leaves my side. Now Im gonna spend the day polishing the edge with my 4 sided leather strop.

Its sooo BOSS, it exudes BOSS'ness like an irridescent glow. You can feel it in the next room. ;)

Cheers!
