I've narrowed down my choices for a user to a couple of knives including the small Sebenza. As much as I like the Mnandi, it looks like the small Sebenza, perhaps with micarta scales, would be a good choice. Any comments or help?

Update: On 06/27/2008 I ordered a small Sebenza 21 with Micarta inlays. Can't wait to ge this one.

the small micarta is widely regarded as the perfect edc knife. not too big, not too small. it is still able to work like its bigger brother too.

the mnandi is a pure gentleman's folder. it can work hard and it does it in style. this is the perfect knife if you dress up for work. :)

I grabbed my Spydie Native one day, on the way out for a walk, and then stopped, thought about it, and picked up my Mnandi and compared them. Same blade length.

I would recommend the small Sebenza for its better handle size for any extended cutting on a regular basis. The Mnandi makes a great steak knife if the restaurant is into cheap, stamped out knives! :D
