Lately, I have noticed that we have quite a few members join the CRK owners club:thumbup:, so I thought I'd add this thread. I know that a lot of us have seen the following videos, but for those who haven't, they are posted below.

If you are on limited time, I would recommend both Shop Tour videos. If you only have time for one, I would recommend part #2 of the Shop Tour. It shows the fitting of the Sebenza which can answer tons of questions regarding lockup, the tight tolerances, sharpening, blade fitting - why the knife needs to be sent in when you need a new blade, etc...

Happy Watching!

Nice to have them in one place again. I've seen them all but it's been a while. thanks!

The shop tour videos just remind me that I need to find a regular Sebenza :p

Wow, and I thought I was hooked before...love the philosophy of whatever it takes. Make it the best you can.

I thought about posting this a couple of weeks ago, loved the videos but the asian girl was kind of annoying

She does a good job of making a fool of herself alright. If you tune her out there's a lot of useful info on there tho.

Slowly watched it all in bits. Does a good job showing the quality and tolerances. I found the thumb lug interesting. I knew it was press fitted, but I didn't know they even used red loctite to really make sure it stays put. I'm definitely not worried about that falling out.

Am I the only one that was checking their knives while Marshall was showing how he inspects them?

Awesome and informative. Anyone else think in part 2 of the shop tour that the inlay knife around the 10:40 mark has a late lockup for a new knife? Just a thought...

There was a thread on that.... http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1268164-Attention-all-CRK-newbs-RE-Lock-up-a-plea-from-a-fan!

No worries. Good observation. I just happened to remember it so I thought I'd point it out for anyone interested.

That's exactly the reason why I watched it until the end. Knowing all that's involved in the making of these knives really make you appreciate them that much more.

I completely agree with you. I became a fan after watching the video. I never knew they had such close tolerances.

I didn't know how basic the anodizing process was on CGG/UG's, makes me that much more impressed at the artistry.

First time watching this video. Im amazed, Ive been buying sebenzas since the 90s and did not think or had any clue they were made like this.

I always enjoy watching these vids, thnks for posting in one thread. Hopefully it stays at top and on first page.
