CRK website update

Lots of pics and much more detail. Love the Mnandi page! The 25 has officially been removed.

The pictures of the new Mnandis are great looking! It looks like there has also been a price increase.

The spalted beech does look nice. The beech on the Sebenza 21 picture seemed to be really good. I was expecting the Thuya to look a little nicer. Again I think the wood on the Sebenza pictures was nicer wood then on the Mnandi... but it was smaller pictures.

Hey what is the thread with out the pictures!

If it's a typical Mnandi, you got to turn it over to see the prettier side! :p

I think Thuya has always been drab in comparison to other woods CRK has used. I remember a few years back when Thuya Annuals would languish on the Exchange for days and price drops before selling.
Of course now I wish I could go back and scarf them up for trade fodder. :D

I think I'll go with Spalted Beech and Bog Oak... The Thuya may not be too bad too...

I'm surprised at the Macassar Ebony...in the Mnandi pics it reminds me a lot of Snakewood (not so in the 21 pics). May just be the lighting though. I personally love the look and character of the Bog Oak on the Mnandis, but on the 21s it just looks plain black like Gabon Ebony.

I think the pictures on the website are just meant as general guidelines as to what you can expect from the different woods. Like any natural materials they will vary from knife to knife.

I can't wait for some spalted beech Mnandis to show up at dealers. I want to hand pick a nice gnarly spalted piece with lots of dark swirls. It'll be my next CRK purchase.

Not a fan of the Inkosi, Glad I have my 25. As for the inlays, they look nice. I will not be buying to much in the near future as I have other things on the agenda, but I still can window shop :D

In the meantime where can buy a set of pins and screws for a large Seb?

Heck with the new foo foo inlays, I want to see the CRK Web Store offerings. Better be good to take them this long on getting it online.
