CRK will not be at Blade Show 2020

Good move on their part. No reason to risk exposure and getting others sick. I think it's pretty reckless to have the event in the first place, but that's my .02

I suspect it's an insurance issue. I've seen similar situations with other conventions over the past couple of months. A lot of these kinds of conventions have insurance that help them recoup costs if they're unable to go forward for reasons outside their control, but not if they voluntarily choose not to hold the event. So if the organizers say "Hey, we've decided that it's in everyone's best interest not to hold this event" and cancel on their own, they're out the money, but if they can go to the insurance company and say "The city told us we're not allowed to run this event" they're covered.
 
I am actually surprised Blade is even going to happen this year. Every local event that has any type of gathering is cancelled near me.

I am going for one day Saturday. Going to be sad. Along with some other smaller makers CRK,Busse,Hinderer and Ti Survival is not going. Anyone heard if MT,Emerson and Medford are still going.
 
Glad to hear. I don't think now is the best time for conventions and I am happy to hear they are not going this time around.

Well I was gonna go. Probably not now.
 
Not surprising at all, there will be lots of others canceling before it is all said and done.
