CRKC Slide Sharp

No, but I've thought about buying one.
Its reasonably priced, and if I recall the lowest angle on the slidesharp is 15 degrees per side which is just about right for most knives. The problem is that I don't think it would sharpen the entire blade, since the attachment would get blocked by the guard or thumbstud. Not sure how this setup would handle blade tips, either
Worse come to worse you can return it, use the setup without the spring/guide, or use the rods benchstone style and sharpening recurves
 
The little window with the video of the guy sharpening the blade is wrong. They recommend using a circular motion and after doing the blade do smaller circular motions to do the tip.
 
I have had no luck with it at all.
Did not sharpen well.
A gadget.
I would not recommend it.

I use DMT.
 
I concur, get something else (like a Spyderco Sharpmaker). The CRKT Slide Sharp will mark up your blades from friction in the groove. I don't like that.
