Anyone out there have the Chestnut Ridge BK5 kydex?

I know the quality is great but I want to know about the carry options. I'm planning on packing my 5 for a kayak camp trip this summer and since I'll be in-boat a lot, I'd like to secure it above the cockpit rim, either on a PFD strap or horizontally on my belt so it's not down in the cockpit.

It looks like the belt loop is secured with screws which means I can run paracord, but I wanted to be sure...

Thanks!

The one I received came with a kydex belt loop. It was removable, and the holes were compatible with tek lok. Here's a pic with my slightly modded 5 CRKS kydex with the tek lok positioned for horizontal carry:

The sheath is very tight, and requires 2 hands to remove the knife. I ended up dremeling the kydex off the handle on the spine side for a thumb assist. Horizontally carried at the small of my back, I can use my left hand to hold on the the paracord, my right hand to draw the knife.
