CRKT Bear Claw-Blunt tip??How Blunt is it?????

I want to buy a small fixed blade that allows a good grip for random chores. The Bear Claw looks like it will do the job at a reasonable price. The blunt tip look a little
safer for what I need it for but I can't tell by the pictures just how far up the blade the edge stop and the blunt end starts
In other words could I cut a label off a cardboard box with it. Or should I just get the serrated version with a regular tip.

Serrated or Plain edge??

Hey dog, IMHO get the regular tip. The one you are talking about not only is rounded but is about a 1/16" thick. Pretty useless for many common applications. I ended up reshaping mine into something useful.

go with the plain tip.its extremely sharp, as is the blade,the blunt tip looks too.......blunt.go with the regular tip.
