CRKT Black finish coming off easily. Ideas?

I have asked this in a different way in a different place on this forum, but would like to compare notes. I have looked a good long while for a knife company which offers knives that are easy on the wallet, but are not junk either. Finally settled on CRKT. I have several models with a reflective black finish. Well, I am having a terrible time keeping the finish from rubbing off. I swear I am very easy on my knives.
The two which are a problem right now are the Crawford Kasper large folder and the Corkum First Strike.
The two which are holding up well so far are the M15 - a 14SF and another.

Any ideas?
Suggestions on superior wax, or coating?

Just me, or anyone else having this problem?

I don't want to give up on the black finish, cause there are some other CRKT knives I really want to get and ALL the ones I like the best are in Black.

Only way to keep a finish is not to use the knife !!!!

All coatings wear off after a while...why worry about it ?

Does that go for pretty much all the black finish knives?
I do like knives to look good, but I intend to use them at least a little bit.
Someone recommended saddle soap, but have no idea how that would work.
Well, you have given me something to think about.

I'm not a big fan of black bladed knives but over the years I've had a few. Kershaw seems to hold up really good.

You have now asked this question in one form or another three times.
Please ask a question once. Asking the same question in multiple forums clogs the server. Most of us visit multiple forums, so asking on multiple forums really doesn't add that much.

My experience is that if you place the question on the most appropriate forum, you will get the best answers. You picked the correct forum when you asked on the Toolshed forum when you first asked this question.

FWIW I gave my answer the first time you asked this.

As much as the black may wear, enough of the black should remain to keep the blade low key, which is why it's black. Some wears off, but even with use it should remain dark.
