Crkt BT Fighter Issues

Hello everybody,

I am new to this board. I purchased a CRKT BT fighter tanto. It has a flipper, thumb stud and button lock. The knife will only work when the button lock is depressed or else its just locked up. Has anybody else had this issue?

Something is not right. A plunge lock is designed so that it shouldn't be able to lock closed. Either the way the locking area of the blade or the shape of the button itself is likely the problem.
