I would like some info on the CRKT carson F4. how is the edge factory, and does it hold an edge? is the sheath sturdy? how about the tip? thanks in advance guys.

(is the search function working for anyone else?)

The general opinion that you will find on this forum is "Nay." I have one and EDC'ed it for a couple of years. I thought it was fine. The AUS-6 needs to be touched up pretty often, but I found it to be a very hand user. Note that if you carry it on your right hip, make sure the clip faces the outside of your belt keeping the sheath snug between the belt and you. This is for having the edge face behind you. Otherwise, the sheath will dull the knife. This is also a great one for inverted carry.
It's not an expensive knife, and I think it's worth every penny that you spend on it.

I EDC an F4 on a regular basis. and I have little in the way of complaints. As Knifeclerk said, the AUS-6 needs regular sharpening, but it's a very useful little knife. The tip on mine is still intact after a year of use. If you're carrying it inverted around your neck, the sheath has surprisingly good retention (in fact, mine has never failed on me). I use it on a regular basis, especially on small food such as fruit, where the action on a folder could get gummed up.

Anyways, it's not a showpiece; it's not made from the best materials; and most folks will tell you that there are better neck knives out there.

That being said, I still like mine!

Hey, it's only twenty bucks. What do you want? It feels great and it's better than chinese POSs
