CRKT Chogan handle replacement

My Chogan handle broke so it’s been out of commission for a bit. The new handle is supposedly from CRKT, I bought it on Amazon and they already flame darkened it. I didn’t know they did that.

only problem is the handle I have looks like it was from the part of tree that hand 2 branches coming out from it, almost like it had two eyes. I wonder if that’s going to be a problem?

There's one way to find out ......use & abuse!

The whole point of these slip through handles are they are super easy to replace & cheap...
If it breaks fit another, or maybe if you're throwing it or giving it a hard life have one spare?
I haven't searched to see what a replacement cost but it should be very cheap, if it isn't copy the one you have or get someone else to make you a few, it's about as easy a woodwork project as it gets.

I believe the flaw will likely be fine in use. The replacement handles made available from all the common tomahawk brands are way more expensive than they have any right to be. Mind you they are not actually expensive however they should be very very inexpensive.
