Ive narrowed it down to these 2 hawks, opinions on them please? I'm worried the CRKT might be a bit to heavy?

The Chogan is way heavier but it is a seriously heavy duty tomahawk that has better fit and finish than the pipe hawk. I have both and if you plan on modding one the pipe hawk is the way to go.

IMO they are 2 different Hawks! The crkt is heavier and splits wood much better and is a beast! The cold steel won't split like the crkt but is lighter and the thinner stock makes it easier to mod! Moding the crkt will just take a bit more elbow grease. If you got the cash grab both. Oh! And yes both throw well the crkt just takes a bit more muscle!
