CRKT Convergence?

This thing seemed to be rivalling the Benchmade Apparition for the Late To Market award, but now I'm seeing them for sale on eBay and at online stores.

Does anyone here have one yet? If so, what do you think? The write-up on CRKT's site sounds cool, but I haven't seen squat from actual users.

So what's the verdict?

Am I to guess that CRKT has a speed safe kind of mechanism now? CRKT makes nice entry level knives, I hope they did the new mechanism properly.

I have always liked CRKT designs and considered them a good value. They have announced 2 assisted opening Crawford models that are made in USA. They are the Vodoo and the Wild Weasel. They have alum handles and 154CM blades. The pricing is fair also. They should be out in Apr or May05. You can see them at http://www.crkt.com/whatsnew.html
