CRKT Corkum First Strike........ I want this knife

Yeah that is nice.., hadn't even seen that. I guess I'll run over to the site and see what the specs are..., maybe they show the sheath?

Yup, it is sweet!! I think retail on it is something like $69.

Get ready folks!!! CRKT is set to do the BIGGEST new knife rollout at the SHOT Show. Close to 10 different new models will make their debut at the SHOT Shot this coming February in Orlando. The folks at CRKT will be ushering in 2003 with a big bang all right :)

yeah I was looking around moteng site and theres gonna be alot of awesome new knives from CRKT, the only one they dont have a pic of is the commander do you know anything about it......

10 models, try 49. I just got finished seeing most of the pre production samples from the sales rep last Thursday. The Corkum won't be available until March. Most of the other models are scheduled for late January delivery to the distributors. The new catalogs are fabulous. The M16 EDC models look like real winners. The Lightfoot M1 should make up for the "Urban Shark". The M1 is real big and real sinister looking. It has a flipper just like an M16. You guys won't be disapointed when you get a chance to see the new CRKTs.

Hey all-

Just got an M1 and Nealy Pesh-Kabz this afternoon.

Wanted to clear up some misinformation on the Moteng site.

The M1 is pretty darn nice. Fans of the Ryan Seven will likely dig this one. The blade is not 3.94", it's 3.25". OAL is 7.675". Across the handle slabs, it's pretty thick at 0.550". The slabs are not aluminum either, they're zytel. Included with the knife is an extra pocket clip, three screws, and a torx key so you can swap the clip up, down, or side to side. Since the clip is designed to curve with the handle, you can use the extra (opposite) one to set it up properly in whatever configuration you choose.

Otherwise, it's stout and smooth. Fast with the flipper and locks up perfectly. Excellent detent that draws the blade back in the last bit when closing, and turned spacer posts similar to those on a handmade Lightfoot. Good fit and finish all the way around.

The Pesh-Kabz is also pretty nice- but I haven't looked at it all that thoroughly just yet. I'd recommend either, especially for the prices. Good values.

Maybe this should be in Reviews and Testing, but figured it followed up pretty well with the previous posts... FWIW anyway.

That is a cool knife!
I really like the look and the execution.
But.........
Its going to be hard to get too worked up for it if they anly care enough to send it in
AUS6!!!!
:( :barf:

The M16 EDC are basically the old Carbon Fiber modesl in aluminum with a flipper. The tanto is the same size as the spear point though. They come in black and green handles. The green is very different looking. They are really slick looking in person.
