Did a search, couldn't find much on it.

I know its not a high end knife but it has sparked my interest.

What can you tell me about it?

thoughts?

Thanks

Surprised you could not find much info on it; it has been a huge seller both for CRKT and for Pat's custom versions. The CRKT version is what got me into knife collecting. I think it is a well-designed knife, very robust, and good value for the money. I am not a big fan of the LAWKS, which feels more like it was lawyer-inspired than knife designer inspired. Pat's custom versions don't use it because the liners are relieved into the frame a bit more so they are not prone to being accidentally relaased.

There are CRKT versions available all over the place--here, eBay, local stores, etc. Big 5 (local sporting goods chain) recently had them on sale for $19.99

I suggest you go to a local dealer if there is one near you and check it out.

I've got both the folding CRKT version which is a very solid knife, my only complaint being that it's tip down only carry, and the fixed blade version, which I like enough to have had a kydex sheath made for it. Oh yeah! it looks badass.

I literally just bought this bad ass for 20$ at big 5. I love it for the cash. In fact I'm thinking about getting it pimped with g10 and an acid etch stonewashed blade!

I got one. The design to me would have been a great spyderco, with better materials and fit and finish and even has about enough room for a spyderco hole.

As is its an okay value knife. Liner lock on mine isn't well done, but it was a cheap knife. Lawks saves it from being dangerous. It is what it is. I like the design, wish it had better steel and attention to detail, but as is works well enough.
