CRKT/CReeve

Being the neophyte that I am, I find myself noticing that CRKT and C. Reeve are often used simultaneously. The Reeve knives are held in high regard by many. Does the CRKT make Reeve knives,visa-versa, a subsidary or...??
Are some of the most underrated production knives on the market available from CRKT, and which would those be ?
